כִּֽי יֵצֵ֤א דְבַר הַמַּלְכָּה֙ עַל כָּל הַנָּשִׁ֔ים לְהַבְז֥וֹת בַּעְלֵיהֶ֖ן בְּעֵינֵיהֶ֑ן בְּאָמְרָ֗ם הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ אֲחַשְׁוֵרוֹשׁ֮ אָמַ֣ר לְהָבִ֣יא אֶת וַשְׁתִּי֮ הַמַּלְכָּ֣ה לְפָנָיו֒ וְלֹ֥א בָֽאָה׃
For this deed of the queen shall come abroad unto all women, so that they shall despise their husbands in their eyes, when it shall be reported, The king Ahasuerus commanded Vashti the queen to be brought in before him, but she came not.
«Porque el hecho de la reina llegará a oídos de todas las mujeres, y las hará despreciar a sus maridos en sus ojos, cuando se cuente: "El rey Asuero mandó traer a su presencia a la reina Vasti, y ella no vino."»
