אִם עַל הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ טוֹב֒ יִכָּתֵ֣ב לְאַבְּדָ֑ם וַעֲשֶׂ֙רֶת אֲלָפִ֤ים כִּכַּר כֶּ֙סֶף֙ אֶשְׁקֹ֣ל עַל יְדֵ֣י עֹשֵׂ֣י הַמְּלָאכָ֔ה לְהָבִ֕יא אֶל גִּנְזֵ֖י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
If it please the king, let it be written that they may be destroyed: and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver to the hands of those that have the charge of the business, to bring it into the king's treasuries.
«Si le parece bien al rey, que sea dado decreto para destruirlos; y yo pesaré diez mil talentos de plata a manos de los que manejan el negocio, para que los lleven a los tesoros del rey.»
