וַיֹּ֤אמֶר הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ אֲחַשְׁוֵר֔וֹשׁ לְאֶסְתֵּ֣ר הַמַּלְכָּ֔ה וּלְמָרְדֳּכַ֖י הַיְּהוּדִ֑י הִנֵּ֤ה בֵֽית הָמָן֙ נָתַ֣תִּי לְאֶסְתֵּ֔ר וְאֹת֣וֹ תָל֔וּ עַל הָעֵ֖ץ עַ֥ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר שָׁלַ֖ח יָד֥וֹ בַּיְּהוּדִֽים׃
Then the king Ahasuerus said unto Esther the queen and to Mordecai the Jew, Behold, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and him they have hanged upon the gallows, because he laid his hand upon the Jews.
Respondió el rey Asuero a la reina Ester y a Mardoqueo el judío: «He aquí, yo he dado a Ester la casa de Amán, y a él le han colgado en la horca, porque extendió su mano contra los judíos.»
