כַּיָּמִ֗ים אֲשֶׁר נָחוּ֩ בָהֶ֨ם הַיְּהוּדִ֤ים מֵאֹיְבֵיהֶם֙ וְהַחֹ֣דֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר נֶהְפַּ֣ךְ לָ֠הֶם מִיָּג֣וֹן לְשִׂמְחָ֣ה וּמֵאֵ֣בֶל לְי֣וֹם ט֡וֹב לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת אוֹתָ֣ם יְמֵ֣י מִשְׁתֶּ֣ה וְשִׂמְחָ֗ה וּמִשְׁלֹ֤חַ מָנוֹת֙ אִ֣ישׁ לְרֵעֵ֔הוּ וּמַתָּנ֖וֹת לָאֶבְיֹנִֽים׃
As the days wherein the Jews rested from their enemies, and the month which was turned unto them from sorrow to joy, and from mourning into a good day: that they should make them days of feasting and joy, and of sending portions one to another, and gifts to the poor.
como días en que los judíos descansaron de sus enemigos, y como el mes que de tristeza se les cambió en alegría, y de luto en día bueno; que los hiciesen días de banquete y de gozo, y de envío de porciones cada uno a su vecino, y de regalos a los pobres.
