יַעַמְדוּ נָ֤א שָׂרֵינוּ֙ לְכָל הַקָּהָ֔ל וְכֹ֨ל אֲשֶׁ֧ר בְּעָרֵ֛ינוּ הֹשִׁ֥יב נָשִׁ֖ים נָכְרִיּ֑וֹת יָבֹ֧א לְעִתִּ֣ים מְזֻמָּנִ֗ים וְעִמָּהֶ֞ם זִקְנֵ֤י עִיר וָעִיר֙ וְשֹׁפְטֶ֔יהָ עַ֚ד אֲשֶׁ֣ר נָשִׁ֔יב חֲר֥וֹן אַ֖ף אֱלֹהֵ֥ינוּ מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃
Let now our rulers of all the congregation stand, and let all them which have taken strange wives in our cities come at appointed times, and with them the elders of every city, and the judges thereof, until the fierce wrath of our God for this matter be turned from us.
Que nuestros jefes actúen en nombre de toda la asamblea. Que todos en nuestras ciudades que han tomado esposas extranjeras vengan en tiempos señalados, y con ellos los ancianos y jueces de cada ciudad, hasta que la ira ardiente de nuestro Dios sobre este asunto se aparte de nosotros.
