וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לָהֶ֡ם זְרֻבָּבֶ֡ל וְיֵשׁ֡וּעַ וּשְׁאָ֣ר רָאשֵׁ֣י הָאָב֡וֹת לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֡ל לֹ֣א לָכֶ֡ם וָלָ֡נוּ לִבְנ֣וֹת בַּ֣יִת לֵֽאלֹהֵינ֡וּ כִּ֣י אֲנַ֡חְנוּ יַחַ֡ד נִבְנֶ֡ה לַיהוָ֡ה אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֡ל כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר צִוָּ֡נוּ הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ כּ֣וֹרֶשׁ מֶֽלֶךְ פָּרַ֡ס׃
But Zerubbabel, and Jeshua, and the rest of the chief of the fathers of Israel, said unto them, Ye have nothing to do with us to build an house unto our God; but we ourselves together will build unto the LORD God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of Persia hath commanded us.
Pero Zorobabel, Jesúa y el resto de los jefes de familia de Israel les respondieron: Vosotros no tenéis nada que ver con nosotros en la edificación de la casa de nuestro Dios; nosotros solos edificaremos al SEÑOR, el Dios de Israel, tal como el rey Ciro rey de Persia nos lo ha ordenado.
