אֵיכָ֣ה יָעִ֤יב בְּאַפּוֹ֙ אֲדֹנָ֔י אֶת בַּת צִיּ֖וֹן הִשְׁלִ֣יךְ מִשָּׁמַ֔יִם אֶ֖רֶץ תִּפְאֶ֣רֶת יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְלֹ֤א זָכַר֙ הֲד֣וֹם רַגְלָ֔יו בְּי֖וֹם אַפּֽוֹ׃
How hath the Lord covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger!
¡Cómo oscureció en su ira el Señor a la hija de Sión! Desde los cielos echó en tierra la hermosura de Israel; y no se acordó del estrado de sus pies en el día de su furor.
