וַיֵּשְׁב֣וּ שָׂרֵ֣י הָעָ֡ם בִּירוּשָׁלִַ֡ם וּשְׁאָ֣ר הָעָ֡ם הִפִּ֡ילוּ גוֹרָלוֹ֩ת לְהָבִ֨יא אֶחָ֤ד מִן הָעֲשָׂרָה֙ לָשֶׁ֣בֶת בִּירוּשָׁלִַ֔ם עִ֖יר הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וְתֵ֙שַׁע֙ הַיָּד֔וֹת בֶּעָרִֽים׃
And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities.
Los jefes del pueblo habitaban en Jerusalén. El resto del pueblo echó suertes para traer a uno de cada diez a vivir en Jerusalén, la ciudad santa, mientras los otros nueve décimos permanecerían en las demás ciudades.
