וָאָרִ֣יב עִמָּ֡ם וָֽאֲקַלְלֵ֡ם וָאַכֶּ֣ה מֵהֶ֡ם אֲנָשִׁ֡ים וָֽאֶמְרְטֵ֡ם וָֽאַשְׁבִּ֡יעֵם בֵּֽאלֹהִ֡ים אִם תִּתְּנ֡וּ בְנֹתֵיכֶ֡ם לִבְנֵיהֶ֡ם וְאִם תִּשְׂאוּ֩ מִבְּנֹתֵיהֶ֨ם לִבְנֵיכֶ֜ם וְלָכֶ֖ם׃
And I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God, saying, Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves.
Y los reprendí, los maldije, golpeé a algunos de ellos y les arranqué el cabello. Y los hice jurar en el nombre de Dios, diciendo: No darán sus hijas a los hijos de ellos, ni tomarán sus hijas para sus hijos ni para ustedes mismos.
