וָאֹמַ֣ר אֲלֵהֶ֡ם אַתֶּ֡ם רֹאִ֡ים הָרָעָ֡ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֲנַ֡חְנוּ בָ֡הּ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יְרוּשָׁלִַ֡ם חֲרֵבָ֡ה וּשְׁעָרֶ֡יהָ נִצְּת֡וּ בָאֵ֡שׁ לְכ֡וּ וְנִבְנֶ֡ה אֶת חוֹמַ֣ת יְרוּשָׁלִַ֡ם וְלֹ֡א נִהְיֶ֡ה עוֹד֩ חֶרְפָּֽה׃
Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.
Entonces les dije: Ustedes ven el problema en que estamos, que Jerusalén está en ruinas y sus puertas están quemadas. Vengan, reconstruyamos el muro de Jerusalén para que no sigamos siendo el oprobio.
