וַיִּקְרָ֣א ב֗וֹ לִפְנֵי֙ הָרְח֣וֹב אֲשֶׁ֣ר לִפְנֵ֣י שַׁ֣עַר הַמַּ֡יִם מִן הָ֡אוֹר עַד מַחֲצִ֣ית הַיּ֡וֹם נֶ֡גֶד הָאֲנָשִׁ֡ים וְהַנָּשִׁ֡ים וְהַמְּבִינִ֡ים וְאָזְנֵ֡י כָל הָעָ֡ם אֶל סֵ֡פֶר הַתּוֹרָֽה׃
And he read therein before the street that was before the water gate from the morning until midday, before the men and the women, and those that could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive unto the book of the law.
Y leyó en ella frente a la plaza que está delante de la Puerta del Agua, desde el amanecer hasta el mediodía, en presencia de los hombres y las mujeres y de los que podían entender. Y los oídos de todo el pueblo estaban atentos al Libro de la Ley.
