וַתָּ֡עַד בָּהֶ֡ם לַהֲשִׁ֡יבָם אֶ֣ל תּוֹרָתֶ֡ךָ וְהֵ֡מָּה הֵזִ֡ידוּ וְלֹ֡א שָׁמְע֡וּ לְמִצְוֺתֶ֡יךָ וּבְמִשְׁפָּטֶ֡יךָ חָטְא֡וּ בָ֡ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר יַעֲשֶׂ֡ה אָדָ֡ם וְחָ֡יָה בָהֶ֡ם וַיִּתְּנ֡וּ כָ֡תֵף סֹרֶ֡רֶת וְעָרְפָּ֡ם הִקְשׁ֡וּ וְלֹ֡א שָׁמֵֽעוּ׃
And testifiedst against them, that thou mightest bring them again unto thy law: yet they dealt proudly, and hearkened not unto thy commandments, but sinned against thy judgments, (which if a man do, he shall live in them;) and withdrew the shoulder, and hardened their neck, and would not hear.
Y los amonestaste para que se volvieran a tu ley. Pero ellos actuaron con soberbia y no obedecieron tus mandamientos, sino que pecaron contra tus ordenanzas, por las cuales el hombre que las cumple vivirá, y volvieron la espalda, endurecieron su cerviz y no quisieron obedecer.
