Ταῦτα δέ, ἀδελφοί, μετεσχημάτισα εἰς ἐμαυτὸν καὶ Ἀπολλὼ δι' ὑμᾶς, ἵνα ἐν ἡμῖν μάθητε τὸ μὴ ὑπὲρ ὃ γέγραπται φρονεῖν, ἵνα μὴ εἷς ὑπὲρ τοῦ ἑνὸς φυσιοῦσθε κατὰ τοῦ ἑτέρου.
And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.
Hermanos, todo esto lo he aplicado a mí mismo y a Apolo para el beneficio de ustedes, a fin de que aprendan de nosotros el significado del dicho: 'No vayan más allá de lo que está escrito'. Así ninguno de ustedes se envanecerá siguiendo a uno en contra del otro.
