ἴδετε ποταπὴν ἀγάπην δέδωκεν ἡμῖν ὁ Πατήρ, ἵνα τέκνα Θεοῦ κληθῶμεν. διὰ τοῦτο ὁ κόσμος οὐ γινώσκει ἡμᾶς, ὅτι οὐκ ἔγνω αὐτόν.
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
¡Miren cuán grande es el amor que nos ha dado el Padre, que seamos llamados hijos de Dios! ¡Y lo somos! El mundo no nos conoce, precisamente porque no lo conoció a él.
