Διότι περιέχει ἐν τῇ γραφῇ, Ἰδού, τίθημι ἐν Σιὼν λίθον ἀκρογωνιαῖον, ἐκλεκτόν, ἔντιμον· καὶ ὁ πιστεύων ἐπ' αὐτῷ οὐ μὴ καταισχυνθῇ.
Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
Porque en la Escritura dice: «Miren que pongo en Sión una piedra elegida y preciosa, una piedra angular, y el que confíe en ella jamás será avergonzado».
