Ἰδού, μακαρίζομεν τοὺς ὑπομένοντας· τὴν ὑπομονὴν Ἰὼβ ἠκούσατε, καὶ τὸ τέλος Κυρίου ἴδετε, ὅτι πολύσπλαγχνός ἐστιν καὶ οἰκτίρμων.
Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
Como saben, consideramos bienaventurados a los que perseveraron. Han oído hablar de la perseverancia de Job, y han visto lo que al final le dio el Señor. Es que el Señor es muy compasivo y misericordioso.
