Ἀλλ' ἔχω κατὰ σοῦ ὀλίγα, ὅτι ἔχεις ἐκεῖ κρατοῦντας τὴν διδαχὴν Βαλαάμ, ὃς ἐδίδαξεν τὸν Βαλὰκ βαλεῖν σκάνδαλον ἐνώπιον τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ, καὶ φαγεῖν εἰδωλόθυτα καὶ πορνεῦσαι.
But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
No obstante, tengo unas pocas cosas en tu contra: que hay entre ustedes quienes se aferran a la enseñanza de Balaam, quien instruyó a Balac para poner tropiezo a los israelitas, induciéndolos a comer alimentos sacrificados a los ídolos y a cometer inmoralidad sexual.
