וְשִׁבַּ֤חְתִּי אֲנִי֙ אֶת הַשִּׂמְחָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר אֵין טּ֤וֹב לָאָדָם֙ תַּ֣חַת הַשֶּׁ֔מֶשׁ כִּ֣י אִם לֶ֔אֱכֹל וְלִשְׁת֖וֹת וְלִשְׂמ֑וֹחַ וְה֗וּא יִלְוֶ֙נּוּ֙ בַּעֲמָל֔וֹ יְמֵ֣י חַיָּ֔יו אֲשֶׁר נָתַן ל֥וֹ הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים תַּ֥חַת הַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃
KJVThen I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun.
And I commend joy, for man has nothing better under the sun but to eat and drink and be joyful, for this will go with him in his toil through the days of his life that God has given him under the sun.
