וַיַּ֥עַן בִּלְדַּ֖ד הַשּׁוּחִ֑י וַיֹּאמַֽר׃

KJVThen answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

Then Bildad the Shuhite answered and said:

הַמְשֵׁ֣ל וָפַ֣חַד עִמּ֑וֹ עֹ֝שֶׂ֗ה שָׁל֥וֹם בִּמְרוֹמָֽיו׃

KJVDominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.

Dominion and fear are with God; he makes peace in his high heaven.

הֲיֵ֣שׁ מִסְפָּ֣ר לִגְדוּדָ֑יו וְעַל מִ֝י לֹא יָק֥וּם אוֹרֵֽהוּ׃

KJVIs there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?

Is there any number to his armies? Upon whom does his light not arise?

וּמַה יִּצְדַּ֣ק אֱנ֣וֹשׁ עִם אֵ֑ל וּמַה יִּ֝זְכֶּ֗ה יְל֣וּד אִשָּֽׁה׃

KJVHow then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?

How then can man be in the right before God? How can he who is born of woman be pure?

הֵ֣ן עַד יָ֭רֵחַ וְלֹ֣א יַאֲהִ֑יל וְ֝כוֹכָבִ֗ים לֹא זַכּ֥וּ בְעֵינָֽיו׃

KJVBehold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.

Behold, even the moon is not bright, and the stars are not pure in his eyes;

אַ֭ף כִּֽי אֱנ֣וֹשׁ רִמָּ֑ה וּבֶן אָ֝דָ֗ם תּוֹלֵעָֽה׃

KJVHow much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?

how much less man, who is a maggot, and the son of man, who is a worm!
