שִׁ֗יר הַֽמַּ֫עֲל֥וֹת מִמַּעֲמַקִּ֖ים קְרָאתִ֣יךָ יְהוָֽה׃

KJVA Song of degrees. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.

A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD!

אֲדֹנָ֗י שִׁמְעָ֥ה בְקוֹלִ֑י תִּהְיֶ֥ינָה אָ֝זְנֶ֗יךָ קַשֻּׁב֥וֹת לְק֣וֹל תַּחֲנוּנָֽי׃

KJVLord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy!

אִם עֲוֹנ֥וֹת תִּשְׁמָר יָ֑הּ אֲדֹנָ֥י מִ֝֗י יַעֲמֹֽד׃

KJVIf thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

כִּֽי עִמְּךָ֥ הַסְּלִיחָ֑ה לְ֝מַ֗עַן תִּוָּרֵֽא׃

KJVBut there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared.

קִ֥וִּיתִי יְהוָ֗ה קִוְּתָ֥ה נַ֫פְשִׁ֥י וְלִדְבָר֥וֹ הוֹחָֽלְתִּי׃

KJVI wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope;

נַפְשִׁ֗י לַֽ֭אדֹנָי מִשֹּׁמְרִ֣ים לַבֹּ֑קֶר שֹׁמְרִ֗֝ים לַבֹּֽקֶר׃

KJVMy soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.

יַחֵ֤ל יִשְׂרָאֵ֨ל ׀ אֶל יְהוָ֗ה כִּי עִם יְהוָ֥ה הַחֶ֑סֶד וְהַרְבֵּ֥ה עִ֝מּ֗וֹ פְּדֽוּת׃

KJVLet Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption.

וְ֭הוּא יִפְדֶּ֣ה אֶת יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל מִ֝כֹּ֗ל עֲוֹנֹתָֽיו׃

KJVAnd he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
