לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ אַֽל תַּ֫שְׁחֵ֥ת מִזְמ֖וֹר לְאָסָ֣ף שִֽׁיר׃

KJVTo the chief Musician, Al-taschith, A Psalm or Song of Asaph.

To the choirmaster: according to Do Not Destroy. A Psalm of Asaph. A Song.

הוֹדִ֘ינוּ לְּךָ֥ אֱלֹהִ֗ים הוֹדִ֣ינוּ וְ֭קָרוֹב שְׁמֶ֑ךָ סִ֝פְּר֗וּ נִפְלְאוֹתֶֽיךָ׃

KJVUnto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.

We give thanks to you, O God; we give thanks, for your name is near. We recount your wondrous deeds.

כִּ֤י אֶקַּ֥ח מוֹעֵ֑ד אֲנִ֥י מֵישָׁרִ֗ים אֶשְׁפֹּֽט׃

KJVWhen I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.

At the set time that I appoint I will judge with equity.

נְמֹגִ֣ים אֶ֭רֶץ וְכָל יֹשְׁבֶ֑יהָ אָנֹכִ֥י תִ֝כַּ֗נְתִּי עַמּוּדֶ֥יהָ סֶּֽלָה׃

KJVThe earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.

When the earth totters, and all its inhabitants, it is I who keep steady its pillars. Selah

אָמַ֣רְתִּי לַ֭הֽוֹלְלִים אַל תָּהֹ֑לּוּ וְ֝לָרְשָׁעִ֗ים אַל תָּרִ֥ימוּ קָֽרֶן׃

KJVI said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

I say to the boastful: Do not boast, and to the wicked: Do not lift up your horn;

אַל תָּרִ֣ימוּ לַ֭מָּרוֹם קַרְנְכֶ֑ם תְּדַבְּר֥וּ בְ֝צַוָּ֗אר עָתָֽק׃

KJVLift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

do not lift up your horn on high, or speak with haughty neck.

כִּ֤י לֹ֣א מִמּוֹצָ֣א וּמִמַּעֲרָ֑ב וְ֝לֹ֗א מִמִּדְבַּ֥ר הָרִֽים׃

KJVFor promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

For not from the east or from the west and not from the wilderness comes lifting up,

כִּי אֱלֹהִ֗ים שֹׁ֫פֵ֥ט זֶ֥ה יַשְׁפִּ֑יל וְ֝זֶ֗ה יָרִֽים׃

KJVBut God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

but it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another.

כִּ֣י כ֭וֹס בְּיַד יְהוָ֣ה וְיַ֥יִן חָמַ֗ר מָלֵ֣א מֶ֭סֶךְ וַיַּגֵּ֣ר מִזֶּ֑ה אַ֤ךְ שְׁמָרֶ֣יהָ יִמְצ֣וּ יִשְׁתּ֣וּ כֹּ֖ל רִשְׁעֵ אָֽרֶץ׃

KJVFor in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup with foaming wine, well mixed, and he pours out from it, and all the wicked of the earth shall drain it down to the dregs.

וַאֲנִ֥י אַגִּ֗יד לְעֹלָ֑ם אֲ֝זַמְּרָ֗ה לֵֽאלֹהֵ֥י יַעֲקֹֽב׃

KJVBut I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

But I will declare it forever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

וְכָל קַרְנֵ֣י רְשָׁעִ֣ים אֲגַדֵּ֑עַ תְּ֝רוֹמַ֗מְנָה קַרְנ֥וֹת צַדִּֽיק׃

KJVAll the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.

All the horns of the wicked I will cut off, but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up.
