לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ בִּנְגִינֹ֥ת מִזְמ֗וֹר לְאָסָ֥ף שִֽׁיר׃
KJVTo the chief Musician on Neginoth, A Psalm or Song of Asaph.
To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. A Psalm of Asaph. A Song.

נוֹדָ֣ע בִּ֭יהוּדָה אֱלֹהִ֑ים בְּ֝יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל גָּד֥וֹל שְׁמֽוֹ׃
KJVIn Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel.
In Judah God is known; his name is great in Israel.

וַיְהִ֣י בְ֭שָׁלֵם סֻכּ֑וֹ וּמְעוֹנָת֥וֹ בְצִיּֽוֹן׃
KJVIn Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.
His abode has been established in Salem, his dwelling place in Zion.

שָׁ֭מָּה שִׁבַּ֣ר רִשְׁפֵּי קָ֑שֶׁת מָגֵ֥ן וְ֝חֶרֶב וּמִלְחָמָ֗ה׃
KJVThere brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.
There he broke the flashing arrows, the shield, the sword, and the weapons of war. Selah

נָאוֹר אַתָּ֗ה אַדִּ֗יר מֵ֫הַרְרֵי טָ֥רֶף׃
KJVThou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.
Glorious are you, more majestic than the mountains full of prey.

אֶשְׁתּוֹלְל֨וּ ׀ אַבִּ֥ירֵי לֵ֗ב נָ֫מ֥וּ שְׁנָתָ֑ם וְלֹ֥א מָ֝צְא֗וּ כָּל אַנְשֵׁי חַ֣יִל יְדֵיהֶֽם׃
KJVThe stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.
The stouthearted were stripped of their spoil; they sank into sleep; all the men of war were unable to use their hands.

מִ֭גַּעֲרָתְךָ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יַעֲקֹ֑ב נִ֝רְדָּ֗ם וְרֶ֣כֶב וָסֽוּס׃
KJVAt thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.
At your rebuke, O God of Jacob, both rider and horse lay stunned.

אַתָּ֤ה ׀ נ֥וֹרָא אַ֗תָּה וּמִֽי יַעֲמֹ֣ד לְפָנֶ֣יךָ מֵאָ֑ז׃
KJVThou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?
But you, you are to be feared! Who can stand before you when once your anger is roused?

מִשָּׁמַ֗יִם הִשְׁמַ֥עְתָּ דִין אֶ֗רֶץ יָרְאָ֗ה וְשָׁקָֽטָה׃
KJVThou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,
From the heavens you uttered judgment; the earth feared and was still,

בְּקֽוּם לַמִּשְׁפָּ֥ט אֱלֹהִ֑ים לְהוֹשִׁ֥יעַ כָּל עַנְוֵי אֶֽרֶץ׃
KJVWhen God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.
when God arose to establish judgment, to save all the humble of the earth. Selah

כִּי חֲמַ֬ת אָדָ֗ם תּ֭וֹדֶךָּ שְׁאֵרִ֥ית חֵמֹ֗ת תַּחְגֹּֽר׃
KJVSurely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.
Surely the wrath of man shall praise you; the remnant of wrath you will put on like a belt.

נִדְר֣וּ וְשַׁלְּמ֣וּ לַיהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם כָּל סְ֝בִיבָ֗יו יֹבִ֥ילוּ שַׁי לַמּוֹרָ֗א׃
KJVVow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.
Make your vows to the LORD your God and perform them; let all around him bring gifts to him who is to be feared,

יִבְצֹ֣ר ר֭וּחַ נְגִידִ֑ים נ֝וֹרָ֗א לְמַלְכֵ֥י אָֽרֶץ׃
KJVHe shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
who cuts off the spirit of princes, who is to be feared by the kings of the earth.
