לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ עַל יְד֫וּת֥וּן לְאָסָ֥ף מִזְמֽוֹר׃
KJVTo the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of Asaph.
To the choirmaster: according to Jeduthun. A Psalm of Asaph.

קוֹלִ֣י אֶ֭ל אֱלֹהִ֣ים וְאֶצְעָ֑קָה קוֹלִ֥י אֶל אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים וְהַאֲזִ֥ין אֵלָֽי׃
KJVI cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.
I cry aloud to God, aloud to God, and he will hear me.

בְּי֥וֹם צָ֗רָתִ֗י אֲדֹנָ֥י דָּ֫רָ֥שְׁתִּי יָ֭דִי לַיְלָ֣ה נִגְּרָ֑ה וְלֹ֣א תָפ֑וּג מֵאֲנָ֖ה הִנָּחֵ֣ם נַפְשִֽׁי׃
KJVIn the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.
In the day of my trouble I seek the Lord; in the night my hand is stretched out without wearying; my soul refuses to be comforted.

אֶ֭זְכְּרָה אֱלֹהִ֣ים וְאֶהֱמָ֑יָה אָשִׂ֓יחָה ׀ וְתִתְעַטֵּ֖ף רוּחִ֣י סֶֽלָה׃
KJVI remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.
When I remember God, I moan; when I meditate, my spirit faints. Selah

אָחַ֥זְתָּ שְׁמֻר֑וֹת עֵינַ֗י נִ֝פְעַ֗מְתִּי וְלֹ֣א אֲדַבֵּֽר׃
KJVThou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.
You hold my eyelids open; I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

חִשַּׁ֥בְתִּי יָמִ֥ים מִקֶּ֑דֶם שְׁ֝נ֗וֹת עוֹלָמִֽים׃
KJVI have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.
I consider the days of old, the years long ago.
7
אֶזְכְּרָ֥ה נְגִינָתִ֑י בַּלָּ֗יְלָה עִם לְ֝בָבִ֗י אָשִׂ֥יחָה וַיְחַפֵּ֗שׂ רוּחִֽי׃
KJVI call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.
I said: Let me remember my song in the night; let me meditate in my heart. Then my spirit made a diligent search:

הַ לְ֭עוֹלָמִים יִזְנַ֣ח אֲדֹנָ֑י וְלֹא יֹסִ֥יף לִ֝רְצ֗וֹת עֽוֹד׃
KJVWill the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?
Will the Lord spurn forever, and never again be favorable?

הֶאָפֵ֣ס לָנֶ֣צַח חַסְדּ֑וֹ גָּ֥מַר אֹ֝֗מֶר לְדֹ֣ר וָדֹֽר׃
KJVIs his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?
Has his steadfast love forever ceased? Are his promises at an end for all time?

הֲשָׁכַ֣ח חַנּ֣וֹת אֵ֑ל אִם קָ֥פַץ בְּ֝אַ֗ף רַחֲמָ֥יו סֶֽלָה׃
KJVHath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.
Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he in anger shut up his compassion? Selah

וָ֭אֹמַר חַלּ֣וֹתִי הִ֑יא שְׁנ֥וֹת יְ֝מִ֗ין עֶלְיֽוֹן׃
KJVAnd I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.
Then I said: I will appeal to this, to the years of the right hand of the Most High.

אֶ֭זְכֹּר מַעַלְלֵ֣י יָ֑הּ כִּֽי אֶזְכְּרָ֥ה מִ֝קֶּ֗דֶם פִּלְאֶֽךָ׃
KJVI will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.
I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your wonders of old.

וְ֭הָגִיתִי בְּכָל פָּעֳלֶ֑ךָ וּֽבַעֲלִילוֹתֶ֗יךָ אָשִֽׂיחָה׃
KJVI will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.
I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds.

אֱלֹהִ֗ים בַּ֭קֹּדֶשׁ דַּרְכֶּ֑ךָ מִי אֵ֥ל גָּ֝ד֗וֹל כֵּֽאלֹהִֽים׃
KJVThy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?
Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God?
15
אַתָּ֣ה הָ֭אֵל עֹשֵׂ֣ה פֶ֑לֶא הוֹדַ֥עְתָּ בָ֝עַמִּ֗ים עֻזֶּֽךָ׃
KJVThou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.
You are the God who works wonders; you have made known your might among the peoples.

גָּאַ֣לְתָּ בִּ֭זְרוֹעַ עַמֶּ֑ךָ בְּנֵי יַ֝עֲקֹ֗ב וְיוֹסֵֽף׃
KJVThou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
You with your arm redeemed your people, the children of Jacob and Joseph. Selah

רָא֣וּךָ מַּ֣יִם אֱלֹהִ֑ים רָ֘א֤וּךָ מַּ֗יִם יָחִ֗ילוּ אַ֗ף יִרְגְּז֗וּ תְּהֹמֽוֹת׃
KJVThe waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.
When the waters saw you, O God, when the waters saw you, they were afraid; indeed, the deep trembled.

זֹ֤רְמוּ מַ֗יִם עָ֫בוֹת ק֥וֹל נָ֭תְנוּ שְׁחָקִ֑ים אַף חֲ֝צָצֶ֗יךָ יִתְהַלָּֽכוּ׃
KJVThe clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.
The clouds poured out water; the skies gave forth thunder; your arrows flashed on every side.

ק֤וֹל רַ֨עַמְךָ ׀ בַּגַּלְגַּ֗ל הֵאִ֣ירוּ בְ֭רָקִים תֵּבֵ֑ל רָגְזָ֥ה וַ֝תִּרְעַ֗שׁ הָאָֽרֶץ׃
KJVThe voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.
The crash of your thunder was in the whirlwind; your lightnings lighted up the world; the earth trembled and shook.
20
בַּיָּ֣ם דַּרְכֶּ֗ךָ וּ֭שְׁבִילְךָ בְּמַ֣יִם רַבִּ֑ים וְ֝עִקְּבוֹתֶ֗יךָ לֹ֣א נֹדָֽעוּ׃
KJVThy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.
Your way was through the sea, your path through the great waters; yet your footprints were unseen.
21
נָחִ֣יתָ כַ֭צֹּאן עַמֶּ֑ךָ בְּ֝יַד מֹשֶׁ֗ה וְאַהֲרֹֽן׃
KJVThou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
