Acts 19:31

Τινὲς δὲ καὶ τῶν Ἀσιαρχῶν, ὄντες αὐτῷ φίλοι, πέμψαντες πρὸς αὐτόν, παρεκάλουν μὴ δοῦναι ἑαυτὸν εἰς τὸ θέατρον.
Tines de kai tōn Asiarchōn, ontes aytō philoi, pempsantes pros ayton, parekaloyn mē doynai eayton eis to theatron.

And certain of the chief of Asia, which were his friends, sent unto him, desiring him that he would not adventure himself into the theatre.

Modern English

Even some of the officials of the province, friends of Paul, sent him a message begging him not to venture into the theater.
