Acts 19:32

Ἄλλοι μὲν οὖν ἄλλο τι ἔκραζον· ἦν γὰρ ἡ ἐκκλησία συγκεχυμένη, καὶ οἱ πλείους οὐκ ᾔδεισαν τίνος ἕνεκεν συνεληλύθεισαν.
Alloi men oyn allo ti ekrazon· ēn gar ē ekklēsia sygkechymenē, kai oi pleioys oyk ēdeisan tinos eneken synelēlytheisan.

Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused; and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together.

Modern English

The assembly was in confusion: Some were shouting one thing, some another. Most of the people did not even know why they were there.
