Acts 2:31

προϊδὼν ἐλάλησεν περὶ τῆς ἀναστάσεως τοῦ Χριστοῦ, ὅτι οὐ κατελείφθη ἡ ψυχὴ αὐτοῦ εἰς ᾍδου, οὐδὲ ἡ σὰρξ αὐτοῦ εἶδεν διαφθοράν.
proidōn elalēsen peri tēs anastaseōs toy Christoy, oti oy kateleiphthē ē psychē aytoy eis Adoy, oyde ē sarx aytoy eiden diaphthoran.
King James Version (KJV)

He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

Modern English

Seeing what was to come, he spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that he was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did his body see decay.
