James 1:15

Εἶτα ἡ ἐπιθυμία συλλαβοῦσα τίκτει ἁμαρτίαν· ἡ δὲ ἁμαρτία ἀποτελεσθεῖσα ἀποκύει θάνατον.
Eita ē epithymia syllaboysa tiktei amartian· ē de amartia apotelestheisa apokyei thanaton.

Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Modern English

Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
