James 1:17

πᾶσα δόσις ἀγαθὴ καὶ πᾶν δώρημα τέλειον ἄνωθέν ἐστι, καταβαῖνον ἀπὸ τοῦ Πατρὸς τῶν φώτων, παρ' ᾧ οὐκ ἔνι παραλλαγὴ ἢ τροπῆς ἀποσκίασμα.
pasa dosis agathē kai pan dōrēma teleion anōthen esti, katabainon apo toy Patros tōn phōtōn, par' ō oyk eni parallagē ē tropēs aposkiasma.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Modern English

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
