James · Ἰάκωβος

James 1:25

O de parakypsas eis nomon teleion ton tēs eleytherias kai parameinas, oytos oyk akroatēs epilēsmonēs genomenos alla poiētēs ergoy, oytos makarios en tē poiēsei aytoy estai.
King James Version (KJV)

But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Modern English

But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it — not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it — they will be blessed in what they do.
