και ιδου ην ανθρωπος εν ιερουσαλημ ω ονομα συμεων σιμεων και ο ανθρωπος ουτος δικαιος και ευλαβης προσδεχομενος παρακλησιν του ισραηλ και πνευμα αγιον ην επ αυτον
kai idoy ēn anthrōpos en ieroysalēm ō onoma symeōn simeōn kai o anthrōpos oytos dikaios kai eylabēs prosdechomenos paraklēsin toy israēl kai pneyma agion ēn ep ayton

And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name {was} Simeon; and the same man {was} just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.

Modern English

Behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. This man was righteous and devout, looking for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was on him.
