זֶה סֵפֶר תּוֹלְדֹת אָדָם בְּיוֹם בְּרֹא אֱלֹהִים אָדָם בִּדְמוּת אֱלֹהִים עָשָׂה אֹתוֹ
KJVThis is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
This is the book of the generations of Adam. When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God.

זָכָר וּנְקֵבָה בְּרָאָם וַיְבָרֶךְ אֹתָם וַיִּקְרָא אֶת שְׁמָם אָדָם בְּיוֹם הִבָּרְאָם
KJVMale and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man when they were created.

וַיְחִי אָדָם שְׁלֹשִׁים וּמְאַת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד בִּדְמוּתוֹ כְּצַלְמוֹ וַיִּקְרָא אֶת שְׁמוֹ שֵׁת
KJVAnd Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
When Adam had lived 130 years, he fathered a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.

וַיִּהְיוּ יְמֵי אָדָם אַחֲרֵי הוֹלִידוֹ אֶת שֵׁת שְׁמֹנֶה מֵאֹת שָׁנָה
KJVAnd the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
The days of Adam after he fathered Seth were 800 years; and he had other sons and daughters.

וַיִּהְיוּ כָּל יְמֵי אָדָם אֲשֶׁר חַי תְּשַׁע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וּשְׁלֹשִׁים שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹת
KJVAnd all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
Thus all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died.

וַיְחִי שֵׁת חָמֵשׁ שָׁנִים וּמְאַת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד אֶת אֱנוֹשׁ
KJVAnd Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:
When Seth had lived 105 years, he fathered Enosh.

וַיְחִי שֵׁת אַחֲרֵי הוֹלִידוֹ אֶת אֱנוֹשׁ שֶׁבַע שָׁנִים וּשְׁמֹנֶה מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה
KJVAnd Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:
Seth lived after he fathered Enosh 807 years and had other sons and daughters.

וַיִּהְיוּ כָּל יְמֵי שֵׁת שְׁתֵּים עֶשְׂרֵה שָׁנָה וּתְשַׁע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹת
KJVAnd all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.
Thus all the days of Seth were 912 years, and he died.

וַיְחִי אֱנוֹשׁ תִּשְׁעִים שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד אֶת קֵינָן
KJVAnd Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:
When Enosh had lived 90 years, he fathered Kenan.
10
וַיְחִי אֱנוֹשׁ אַחֲרֵי הוֹלִידוֹ אֶת קֵינָן חֲמֵשׁ עֶשְׂרֵה שָׁנָה וּשְׁמֹנֶה מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה
KJVAnd Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:
Enosh lived after he fathered Kenan 815 years and had other sons and daughters.

וַיִּהְיוּ כָּל יְמֵי אֱנוֹשׁ חָמֵשׁ שָׁנִים וּתְשַׁע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹת
KJVAnd all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.
Thus all the days of Enosh were 905 years, and he died.

וַיְחִי קֵינָן שִׁבְעִים שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד אֶת מַהֲלַלְאֵל
KJVAnd Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel:
When Kenan had lived 70 years, he fathered Mahalalel.
13
וַיְחִי קֵינָן אַחֲרֵי הוֹלִידוֹ אֶת מַהֲלַלְאֵל אַרְבָּעִים שָׁנָה וּשְׁמֹנֶה מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה
KJVAnd Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:
Kenan lived after he fathered Mahalalel 840 years and had other sons and daughters.

וַיִּהְיוּ כָּל יְמֵי קֵינָן עֶשֶׂר שָׁנִים וּתְשַׁע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹת
KJVAnd all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.
Thus all the days of Kenan were 910 years, and he died.
15
וַיְחִי מַהֲלַלְאֵל חָמֵשׁ וְשִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד אֶת יֶרֶד
KJVAnd Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:
When Mahalalel had lived 65 years, he fathered Jared.

וַיְחִי מַהֲלַלְאֵל אַחֲרֵי הוֹלִידוֹ אֶת יֶרֶד שְׁלֹשִׁים שָׁנָה וּשְׁמֹנֶה מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה
KJVAnd Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:
Mahalalel lived after he fathered Jared 830 years and had other sons and daughters.
17
וַיִּהְיוּ כָּל יְמֵי מַהֲלַלְאֵל חָמֵשׁ וְתִשְׁעִים שָׁנָה וּשְׁמֹנֶה מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹת
KJVAnd all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.
Thus all the days of Mahalalel were 895 years, and he died.
18
וַיְחִי יֶרֶד שְׁתַּיִם וְשִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה וּמְאַת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד אֶת חֲנוֹךְ
KJVAnd Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:
When Jared had lived 162 years, he fathered Enoch.
19
וַיְחִי יֶרֶד אַחֲרֵי הוֹלִידוֹ אֶת חֲנוֹךְ שְׁמֹנֶה מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה
KJVAnd Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
Jared lived after he fathered Enoch 800 years and had other sons and daughters.
20
וַיִּהְיוּ כָּל יְמֵי יֶרֶד שְׁתַּיִם וְשִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה וּתְשַׁע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹת
KJVAnd all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.
Thus all the days of Jared were 962 years, and he died.
21
וַיְחִי חֲנוֹךְ חָמֵשׁ וְשִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד אֶת מְתוּשָׁלַח
KJVAnd Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
When Enoch had lived 65 years, he fathered Methuselah.
22
וַיִּתְהַלֵּךְ חֲנוֹךְ אֶת הָאֱלֹהִים אַחֲרֵי הוֹלִידוֹ אֶת מְתוּשָׁלַח שְׁלֹשׁ מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה
KJVAnd Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
Enoch walked with God after he fathered Methuselah 300 years and had other sons and daughters.
23
וַיִּהְיוּ כָּל יְמֵי חֲנוֹךְ חָמֵשׁ וְשִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה וּשְׁלֹשׁ מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה
KJVAnd all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
Thus all the days of Enoch were 365 years.
24
וַיִּתְהַלֵּךְ חֲנוֹךְ אֶת הָאֱלֹהִים וְאֵינֶנּוּ כִּי לָקַח אֹתוֹ אֱלֹהִים
KJVAnd Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.
25
וַיְחִי מְתוּשֶׁלַח שֶׁבַע וּשְׁמֹנִים שָׁנָה וּמְאַת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד אֶת לָמֶךְ
KJVAnd Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:
When Methuselah had lived 187 years, he fathered Lamech.
26
וַיְחִי מְתוּשֶׁלַח אַחֲרֵי הוֹלִידוֹ אֶת לָמֶךְ שְׁתַּיִם וּשְׁמוֹנִים שָׁנָה וּשְׁבַע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה
KJVAnd Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
Methuselah lived after he fathered Lamech 782 years and had other sons and daughters.
27
וַיִּהְיוּ כָּל יְמֵי מְתוּשֶׁלַח תֵּשַׁע וְשִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה וּתְשַׁע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹת
KJVAnd all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
Thus all the days of Methuselah were 969 years, and he died.
28
וַיְחִי לֶמֶךְ שְׁתַּיִם וּשְׁמֹנִים שָׁנָה וּמְאַת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד בֵּן
KJVAnd Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
When Lamech had lived 182 years, he fathered a son.
29
וַיִּקְרָא אֶת שְׁמוֹ נֹחַ לֵאמֹר זֶה יְנַחֲמֵנוּ מִמַּעֲשֵׂנוּ
KJVAnd he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.
And called his name Noah, saying, "Out of the ground that the LORD has cursed, this one shall bring us relief from our work."
30
וַיְחִי לֶמֶךְ אַחֲרֵי הוֹלִידוֹ אֶת נֹחַ חָמֵשׁ וְתִשְׁעִים שָׁנָה וַחֲמֵשׁ מֵאֹת שָׁנָה
KJVAnd Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
Lamech lived after he fathered Noah 595 years and had other sons and daughters.
31
וַיִּהְיוּ כָּל יְמֵי לֶמֶךְ שֶׁבַע וְשִׁבְעִים שָׁנָה וּשְׁבַע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיָּמֹת
KJVAnd all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
Thus all the days of Lamech were 777 years, and he died.
32
וַיְהִי נֹחַ בֶּן חֲמֵשׁ מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד נֹחַ אֶת שֵׁם אֶת חָם וְאֶת יָפֶת
KJVAnd Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
After Noah was 500 years old, Noah fathered Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
