Then commanded king Darius to seek among the records at Babylon: and so at Ecbatana the palace, which is in the country of Media, there was found a roll wherein these things were recorded.
Then King Darius ordered a search made among the records at Babylon; and at Ecbatana, the fortress in the province of Media, a scroll was found containing this record:
