1 Maccabees 5:4

καὶ ἐμνήσθη τῆς κακίας υἱῶν Βαιαν, οἳ ἦσαν τῷ λαῷ εἰς παγίδα καὶ σκάνδαλον ἐν τῷ ἐνεδρεύειν αὐτοὺς ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς·

Also he remembered the injury of the children of Bean, who had been a snare and an offence unto the people, in that they lay in wait for them in the ways.

He also remembered the wrong done by the people of Baean, who had been a trap and a menace to his people, lying in ambush along the roads.
