2 Maccabees 12:13

Ἐπέβαλεν δὲ καὶ ἐπί τινα πόλιν γεφύραις ὀχυρὰν καὶ τείχεσιν περιπεφραγμένην καὶ παμμειγέσιν ἔθνεσιν κατοικουμένην, ὄνομα δὲ Κασπιν.
King James Version (KJV)

He went also about to make a bridge to a certain strong city, which was fenced about with walls, and inhabited by people of divers countries; and the name of it was Caspis.

Modern English

He also set out to build siege equipment against a certain well-fortified city surrounded by walls and inhabited by people of mixed nationalities, called Caspin.
