Judith

Judith 12:15

King James Version (KJV)

So she arose, and decked herself with her apparel and all her woman’s attire, and her maid went and laid soft skins on the ground for her over against Holofernes, which she had received of Bagoas far her daily use, that she might sit and eat upon them.

Modern English

So she got up, dressed herself in her finest clothing and jewelry, while her maid went ahead and spread soft skins on the ground across from Holofernes — skins she had received from Bagoas for her daily use — so she could recline and eat there.
