Judith

Judith 14:2

King James Version (KJV)

And so soon as the morning shall appear, and the sun shall come forth upon the earth, take ye every one his weapons, and go forth every valiant man out of the city, and set ye a captain over them, as though ye would go down into the field toward the watch of the Assyrians; but go not down.

Modern English

As soon as morning breaks and the sun rises over the earth, let every one of you take up his weapons, and let every able-bodied man go out of the city; appoint a commander over them, as though you meant to go down to the plain against the Assyrian outposts — but do not actually go down.
