Judith

Judith 6:4

King James Version (KJV)

For with them we will tread them under foot, and their mountains shall be drunken with their blood, and their fields shall be filled with their dead bodies, and their footsteps shall not be able to stand before us, for they shall utterly perish, saith king Nabuchodonosor, lord of all the earth: for he said, None of my words shall be in vain.

Modern English

We will trample them underfoot, their mountains will run drunk with their blood, and their fields will be covered with their dead; not one of them will be able to stand against us — they will be utterly destroyed, says King Nebuchadnezzar, lord of the whole earth, for he has said, None of my words will go unfulfilled.
