[Ἑλλ. — ὁ στίχος ἀπουσιάζει ἀπὸ τὸ κύριο κείμενο τῶν Ο΄ (Rahlfs)· προσθήκη τῆς παλαιᾶς Λατινικῆς παράδοσης, ὅπως ἀκολουθεῖ τὸ KJV] πᾶς ἄνθρωπος ἐκ νεότητος αὐτοῦ πρὸς τὸ κακὸν ρέπει, καὶ οὐκ ἠδυνήθησαν ποιῆσαι ἑαυτοῖς καρδίας σαρκίνας ἀντὶ λιθίνων.

Every man from his youth is given to evil; neither could they make to themselves fleshy hearts for stony.

Modern English

[Every person is prone to evil from youth, and none of them could turn their hearts of stone into hearts of flesh.]
