Sirach (Ecclesiasticus) 28:22

[Ἑλλ. — ὁ στίχος ἀπουσιάζει ἀπὸ τὸ κύριο κείμενο τῶν Ο΄ (Rahlfs)· προσθήκη τῆς παλαιᾶς Λατινικῆς παράδοσης, ὅπως ἀκολουθεῖ τὸ KJV] οὐ γὰρ ἔχει ἐξουσίαν ἐν εὐσεβέσι, καὶ ἐν τῇ φλογὶ αὐτῆς οὐ καήσονται.

King James Version (KJV)

It shall not have rule over them that fear God, neither shall they be burned with the flame thereof.

Modern English

[It has no power over those who fear God, and they will not be burned by its flame.]
