Tobit 2:10

King James Version (KJV)

And I knew not that there were sparrows in the wall, and mine eyes being open, the sparrows muted warm dung into mine eyes, and a whiteness came in mine eyes: and I went to the physicians, but they helped me not: moreover Achiacharus did nourish me, until I went into Elymais.

Modern English

not realizing there were sparrows in the wall above me; their warm droppings fell into my open eyes and caused white patches to form. I went to physicians, but they could not help me; meanwhile Ahikar supported me until I went to Elymais.
