Wisdom of Solomon 14:24

οὔτε βίους οὔτε γάμους καθαροὺς ἔτι φυλάσσουσιν, ἕτερος δ᾿ ἕτερον ἢ λοχῶν ἀναιρεῖ ἢ νοθεύων ὀδυνᾷ.
King James Version (KJV)

They kept neither lives nor marriages any longer undefiled: but either one slew another traiterously, or grieved him by adultery.

Modern English

they no longer kept either their lives or their marriages pure, but one would treacherously murder another, or wound another through adultery.
