And employing his labours lewdly, he maketh a vain god of the same clay, even he which a little before was made of earth himself, and within a little while after returneth to the same, out of the which he was taken, when his life which was lent him shall be demanded.
Yet, misusing his skill, from that same clay he fashions a worthless god; this man, who was himself made from earth only a short time ago, and will soon return to the very earth he came from, when the life lent to him is finally demanded back.
