וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לִיהוּדָ֡ה נִ֠בְנֶה֩ אֶ֨ת הֶעָרִ֤ים הָאֵ֙לֶּה֙ וְנָסֵ֣ב חוֹמָ֣ה וּמִגְדָּלִ֗ים דְּלָת֤וֹת וּבְרִיחִים֙ עוֹד הָ֔אָרֶץ לְפָנֵ֔ינוּ כִּ֣י דָ֣רַשְׁנוּ אֶת יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹ֣הֵינוּ דָּ֠רַשְׁנוּ וַ֠יָּנַח לָ֠נוּ מִסָּבִ֑יב וַיִּבְנ֥וּ וַיַּצְלִֽיחוּ׃
Therefore he said unto Judah, Let us build these cities, and make about them walls, and towers, gates, and bars, while the land is yet before us; because we have sought the LORD our God, we have sought him, and he hath given us rest on every side. So they built and prospered.
Por tanto dijo a Judá: Edifiquemos estas ciudades y rodeémoslas de muros, torres, puertas y barras. La tierra aún es nuestra porque hemos buscado al SEÑOR nuestro Dios. Lo hemos buscado y él nos ha dado paz por todos lados. Entonces edificaron y prosperaron.
