וַיְהִ֣י לְאָסָ֡א חַ֠יִל נֹשֵׂ֡א צִנָּ֠ה וָ֠רֹמַ֡ח מִ֠יהוּדָ֡ה שְׁלֹ֠שׁ מֵ֠אוֹת אֶ֠לֶף וּ֠מִבִנְיָמִ֡ן נֹשְׂאֵ֣י מָגֵ֣ן וְדֹרְכֵ֣י קֶ֠שֶׁת מָאתַ֡יִם וּ֠שְׁמוֹנִ֡ים אָ֠לֶף כָּ֠ל אֵ֡לֶּה גִּבּ֣וֹרֵי חָֽיִל׃
And Asa had an army of men that bare targets and spears, out of Judah three hundred thousand; and out of Benjamin, that bare shields and drew bows, two hundred and fourscore thousand: all these were mighty men of valour.
Asa tenía un ejército de trescientos mil hombres de Judá, armados con escudos grandes y lanzas, y doscientos ochenta mil de Benjamín que portaban escudos y disparaban arcos. Todos estos eran hombres valientes.
