וְלֹ֣א זָכַ֡ר הַ֠מֶּ֡לֶךְ יוֹאָ֡שׁ הַ֠חֶ֠סֶ֡ד אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָ֠שָׂ֡ה יְהוֹיָדָ֡ע אָבִ֡יו עִמּ֡וֹ וַ֠יַּהֲרֹ֡ג אֶ֠ת בְּנ֡וֹ וּ֠כְ֠מוֹת֑וֹ אָמַ֕ר יֵ֥רֶא יְהוָ֖ה וְיִדְרֹֽשׁ׃
Thus Joash the king remembered not the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but slew his son. And when he died, he said, The LORD look upon it, and require it.
Así el rey Joás no recordó la bondad que Joiada, el padre de Zacarías, le había mostrado, sino que mató a su hijo. Y cuando murió, dijo: ¡Que el SEÑOR lo vea y lo vengue!
