וַ֠יַּ֠עַ֡ל עֲלֵיהֶ֡ם אֶ֠ת מֶ֠לֶ֠ךְ כַּ֠שְׂדִּ֡ים וַ֠יַּ֠הֲרֹ֡ג בַּחוּרֵיהֶ֡ם בַּ֠חֶ֠רֶ֡ב בְּ֠בֵ֠ית מִ֠קְדָּשָׁ֡ם וְ֠לֹ֠א חָ֠מַ֡ל עַ֠ל בָּחוּ֡ר וּ֠בְ֠תוּלָ֡ה זָקֵ֡ן וְ֠יָשֵׁ֡ש הַ֠כֹּ֡ל נָ֠תַ֡ן בְּ֠יָדֽ֡וֹ׃
Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: he gave them all into his hand.
Por tanto, trajo contra ellos al rey de los caldeos, quien mató a sus jóvenes a espada en la casa de su santuario y no tuvo compasión de joven ni de virgen, de anciano ni de envejecido. Los entregó todos en su mano.
