אַנְתְּ֣ מַלְכָּ֡א שָׂ֣מְתָּ טְּעֵ֣ם דִּ֣י כָל אֱנָ֣שׁ דִּֽי יִשְׁמַ֣ע קַ֣ל קַרְנָ֡א מַשְׁרוֹקִיתָ֣א קַתְרֹ֣ס שַׂבְּכָ֣א פְּסַנְתֵּרִ֡ין וְסוּמְפֹּנְיָ֣ה וְכֹ֣ל זְנֵ֣י זְמָרָ֑א יִפֵּ֣ל וְיִסְגֻּד֙ לְצֶ֣לֶם דַּהֲבָ֔א׃
Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:
Tú, oh rey, has dado un decreto de que todo hombre que oiga el sonido de la trompeta, la flauta, la cítara, el salterio, el arpa y la gaita, y toda clase de música, se postre y adore la estatua de oro.
