וּמִתְכַּנְּשִׁ֞ין אֲחַשְׁדַּרְפְּנַיָּ֤א סִגְנַיָּא֙ וּפַחֲוָתָ֔א וְהַדָּבְרֵ֖י מַלְכָּ֑א חָ֣זַיִן לְגֻבְרַיָּ֣א אִלֵּ֡ן דִּֽי לָ֣א שְׁלִ֣ט נוּרָ֣א בְּגֶשְׁמְהֹ֣ון וּשְׂעַ֣ר רֵאשְׁהֹ֣ון לָ֣א הִתְחָ֣רַֽךְ וְסַרְבָּלֵיהֹ֣ון לָ֣א שְׁנֹ֡ו וְרֵ֣יחַ נוּרָ֡א לָ֣א עֲדָ֡ת בְּהֹֽון׃
And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
Y los sátrapas, magistrados, gobernadores y consejeros del rey se juntaron para ver que el fuego no había tenido ningún poder sobre los cuerpos de aquellos hombres: ni un cabello de sus cabezas se había chamuscado, ni sus mantos habían sido dañados, ni siquiera olor a fuego había en ellos.
