מִימֵ֣י אֲבֹתֵ֡ינוּ אֲנַ֡חְנוּ בְּאַשְׁמָ֡ה גְדֹלָ֡ה עַ֡ד הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֡ה וּבַעֲוֺנֹתֵ֡ינוּ נִתַּ֡נּוּ אֲנַ֡חְנוּ מְלָכֵ֡ינוּ כֹּהֲנֵ֡ינוּ בְּיַ֣ד מַלְכֵ֣י הָאֲרָצ֑וֹת בַּחֶ֣רֶב בַּשְּׁבִ֡י וּבַבִּזָּ֡ה וּבְב֡וֹשֶׁת פָּנִ֡ים כְּהַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃
Since the days of our fathers have we been in a great trespass unto this day; and for our iniquities have we, our kings, and our priests, been delivered into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, and to a spoil, and to confusion of face, as it is this day.
Desde los días de nuestros padres hasta el día de hoy hemos estado en gran culpa. Y por nuestras iniquidades nosotros, nuestros reyes y nuestros sacerdotes hemos sido entregados en manos de los reyes de las tierras, a la espada, al cautiverio, al saqueo y a la vergüenza total, como está hoy.
