וַיֹּ֣אמֶר בֹּ֔עַז בְּי֥וֹם קְנוֹתְךָ֛ הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה מִיַּ֣ד נָעֳמִ֑י וּמֵאֵ֛ת ר֥וּת הַמּוֹאֲבִיָּ֖ה אֵ֣שֶׁת הַמֵּ֑ת קָנִ֕יתָה לְהָקִ֥ים שֵׁם־הַמֵּ֖ת עַל־נַחֲלָתֽוֹ׃
Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.
Entonces dijo Boaz: «El mismo día que compres el campo de mano de Noemí, has de comprar también a Rut la moabita, mujer del difunto, para que el nombre del difunto se levante sobre su heredad.»
